Custom Made Flutes
Every made custom flute begins as a journey we embark on together—one that starts with conversation, connection, and a shared vision of the flute we will create. We explore the physical elements first: the type of wood, the style of flute - traditional or drone, the key, sound, and number of holes. We also speak of the natural world and the symbols that resonate with you, such as animals, stones, plants, colours, sacred elements and directions.
For me, the most important part comes next: intention and inspiration. This is where I believe the voice of a flute is born, lives and grows. Each Native American style flute I create is rooted in inspiration and intention. Every step of the journey is guided by the heart—a way of seeing, creating and walking in life that was shared with me many years ago by my dear friend and mentor as he taught me to play and craft these remarkable instruments.
From the moment I walk into the forest to forage the wood for the flute everything we shared is being woven into the creation story of the flute. Crafting these instruments is a moving meditation and throughout the whole journey I enjoy sharing this unique story and the magic that unfolds with photos, videos and recordings.
Every flute is individually handcrafted with love and patience allowing their voice to emerge naturally and beautifully. Wait times may vary from one to six months. An approximate completion date will be shared during our initial discussion. A general guide to the cost of the flutes I create is between £300 - £350 for traditional flutes and £450- £500 for drone flutes. All flutes come with my written account their creation story and the inspiration shared along the way. They also come with beautiful cloth case so you can feel safe bringing your flute with you wherever you go and all the flutes I create come with a lifetime guarantee.

Alongside custom orders and commissions, I also create Native American style flutes that are available for purchase in the online shop. The journey of creating these flutes is the same as with commissioned pieces - guided by intention, heart, care, mindfulness, and gratitude. The only difference is that with these, it is just me and Mother Nature.
